• I am competent and able to ride a bicycle.
• When riding on a share bicycle, I will abide by all laws, regulations and rules applicable to bicycle riders, referring to https://www.legalaid.vic.gov.au/bike-law
• When riding on the share bicycle, I will wear a helmet.
• I will take care of the share bicycle I am using and the helmet, numbered bike key and front and rear lights provided to me.
• I will ride on designated paths and roadways and not on covered walkways (including the Agora Square).

• If I lose my helmet, numbered bike key or front and/or rear lights, I will pay La Trobe University for the cost of replacing them.
• I will report any damage to, or the need to repair, a share bicycle.
• If the bike is severely damaged or lost, I will be liable for the repair and replacement of the bike with the current replacement costs of at least $350.
• My participation in the share bike scheme is absolutely at my own risk and La Trobe University is not liable for any injuries incurred or inflicted by me and/or any damage caused to any person or thing by my use of the share bicycle, which includes all actions, suits, claims, costs, expenses and demands in respect of death, injury, loss or damage to me or any other person however caused.

I agree to email sustainability@latrobe.edu.au to advise of any damages, loss or general maintenance that occurs, by including my name, day of hire, and issues with the bike, titled "Bike Share damage/repairs".
